How to choose the correct size tail bag!

Rugged Unicorn/ Rugged FeatherLite Tail Bags

Measure from the point of attachment on your horse's rug, to the tip of your horse's tail.

For safety, ensure the tail bag will not drag on the ground. If needed, the end of the tail can be folded slightly inside the bag to shorten the overall length.

Horses and ponies of the same height may require different sized tail bags depending on their tail length.

We recommend measuring your horse before ordering to ensure the best fit.

Slinky, Swishy Slinky & Rain Dancer Tail Bags

To choose the correct size, measure your horse's tail from the bottom of the dock to the end of the tail.

For safety, ensure the tail bag will not drag on the ground. If needed, the end of the tail can be folded slightly inside the bag to shorten the overall length.

Horses and ponies of the same height may require different sized tail bags depending on their dock length and whether their tail is trimmed. For example, one 16hh horse may suit a Full (75cm), while another of similar build may only require a Pony (55cm) if they have a shorter tail or a longer dock.

We recommend measuring your horse before ordering to ensure the best fit.
